Common Questions About Our Door Options

Are your doors fire rated?
All materials used in the doors are UL rated, but our doors have not been tested as a UL assembly and do not carry any fire rating.

Can you build double doors?
Yes we can. Contact us for a quote.

Can you include glass in your doors?
Yes we can. You can view our two stock sizes on each product page. Contact us for a quote on custom sizes.

Can you recommend installers in my area?
Any finish carpenter can install our doors. Besides the weight of the door, the installation is not significantly different than a normal door.

Can I install one of your doors as an exterior door?
Yes you can. Our doors are mostly wood based so it is important to fully seal the door to prevent damage or warping from excessive exposure to moisture.

Ordering and Payment

How To Order

Method of Payment Accepted
We accept payment by credit card, PayPal, or check. Given the doors we manufacture are custom made, all payments must be made up front.

Order Cancellation
Because of our quick production, orders can only be cancelled and refunded in full if done so within 48 hours of placing the order. If the order is cancelled after this 48 hour period and before the door(s) is shipped, the order will be refunded with a 50% restocking fee for the product price and full refund for the cost of shipping. The order cannot be cancelled after shipment.

Shipping and Delivery

Custom Doors and Standard Lead Time
We always stress quick turnaround times with each door we manufacture. Our standard orders are on a manufacturing schedule of first come first serve. The typical lead time for a door is two to three weeks plus transit of one to five days. If lead time is crucial for your project, then please confirm the estimated delivery date at the time of ordering.

Freight Shipments
Our doors ship by common LTL freight carrier. The estimated cost for shipping per door is $150 to $300 (much less per door on multiple door orders) with a lift gate provided at delivery if required. These freight shipments require signature at delivery and inspection by the recipient for any damaged or lost product. All damage or lost product must be noted at delivery for IsoStore to file a claim on the recipient’s behalf with the freight carrier. Failure to inform the driver of damaged or lost product will limit our claim to 33% of the value of the damaged or lost product.

International Shipping
We will ship our doors to anywhere in the world. Brokerage fees and duties assessed by the recipient’s country are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns and Replacements

Return Policy
Our sound isolation doors are considered custom products so they cannot be returned unless there is damage to the door during shipping. We guarantee satisfaction of manufacturing quality as well as acoustic design and door finish. If you are not satisfied with our doors then please contact us for further information.

Incorrect or Damaged Items
If you receive an incorrect or damaged product, please notify us immediately. If required, we will file a claim on your behalf with the shipping carrier and promptly ship a replacement. If damage has occurred, then photographs of the damage are required to begin the claims process. If you fail to note any damage with the driver on the Bill of Lading at delivery, then claims are typically limited to 33% of the value of the damaged product.

Warranty Information

Each of our doors is fully warrantied for up to 1 year starting from the date of delivery. Warranty information will be e-mailed to the customer upon shipment and must be completed and returned back to us to validate the warranty.

This email confirmation does not constitute a contract, and orders may be cancelled at any time due to insufficient stock, inability to authorize a credit card, suspicion of fraudulent intent, discovery of an incorrect item price, or any other reason, as we see fit. Please further note that IsoStore has the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged and your order is cancelled, IsoStore will issue a refund to your credit card account.
